RN, MSN ACNP-BC, Nurse Practitioner

I have been working as a Hospitalist for the last seven years and have recently joined the medical team at My Bariatric Solutions. I have been a nurse for 30 years and am a Board Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing in 1984. I then attended the University of Texas at Arlington to obtain my Masters in Nursing after 20 years in the ICU/CCU and ER.

I am primarily located in the hospital during the week. You will see me in the recovery room immediately after surgery and I will then be following you during your stay in the hospital. My role is to follow you in the hospital after surgery in order to manage your care. This may include pain and nausea management, blood pressure and blood glucose monitoring or simply addressing questions or concerns.

I am very excited to be a part of our health care team and look forward to meeting each and every one of you.

Nurse Practitioner

I am a Physician Assistant and have been in healthcare for over 5 years, and I truly love it.

I joined the My Bariatric Solution team in June 2017. I graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School and bring many valuable skills to this team. I became interested in Bariatrics when I completed a rotation with Dr. Smith and was able to witness the significant difference it made in patients’ life both physically and mentally.

My favorite part of being at My Bariatric Solutions is the patients, because it allows me to help others reach their goals. Also, working with our amazing staff can be a lot of fun!

When I’m not working with patients at My Bariatric Solutions, I enjoy riding horses and spending time with my children.

I am a loving mother, animal lover and outdoor enthusiast from Paradise, Texas.

The things I love most in life are my kids, family, and God.
